@aquakiller8, the argument over what is real old school punk is overdone. Back in '76 people always like to point out The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and The Ramones... Then there's the earlier proto-punk like MC5 and Velvet Underground etc... You could take it all the way back to real anti-corporate revolutionary artists like Woody Guthrie if you wanted. Anyhow, back then they all had good mutual respect for each other.

@Bo678 real old school punk is the Sex Pistols...

The beginning almost sounds like one of Jello's spoken word parts from a Dead Kennedys song.

The roles have switched on us haven't they?

This is real old school punk rock. Back when bands like Bad Religion, DK, The Clash, MDC, Crass.. were a lot more musically talented and also used lyrics that spoke out against oppressive regimes and Right Wing politics.

Dude the formatting of these lyrics reminds me of Mortal Kombat 3 credits

The only reason I "liked" this video, was cuz of the account name :D
@mikeymacaque bad commercial music a la nickleback mayhaps. I would have no problem with music like that to cease existing.

@AdamRainStopper
NOFX, Bad Religion, and The Offspring are pioneers of the EpiFat punk scene of the late 80s and 90s. Those bands, along with Rancid and Pennywise pioneered a sound and often played in the same dives together, so it's no wonder their sounds might be similar.
@cuntsound - If I write a song, I have the right to do whatever I want with it, make money or sell it for free. Without capital incentive, music ceases to exist.
