Cheers for what seems like an hounest review. The last 1/2 dozen vids I watched made it seem to good! Thankyou for pointing out it's floors and still leaving it up to us to make our own decision.

@65bellett My pleasure, thanks for your comment. Part of the reason I was so upset with the Smoke 51 is because everyone gave it a glowing review (along with a "priority code"). At $75, this should have been the best thing since man discovered tobacco. The fact that this was so horrible and everyone "reviewing" it were actually just shilling snake oil pissed me off to no end.

I notice this was from October... have you done any more research/testing of e-cigs since then? They've gone kinda "viral" in the past year, and for good reason.

You seemed disappointed in the performance of this - admittedly low-end rip off - e-cig, as if you WANTED something better, more... cigarette-like.

Well, they are out there. I've "vaped" (as opposed to "smoked") on a Joye/Titan 510 for the past two weeks, with a variety of flavors, and have not had even the remotest urge to smoke.

@MrJest2 I've been "vaping" off and on ever since October. I've come to the conclusion that the cigarette isn't nearly as important as the liquid used to fill it. Of all the liquid suppliers I've found, and all the ecigs I've tried, my favorite is still the Absolutely E-Cigs M201, and my favorite liquid is without a question, the extra-high vanilla from AEC.

it comes with two batteries and the filter packs are 14 dollars and I don't how you think its taste bad have you ever smoke a real cigarette

I do agree with you completely that the 51 Duo cartridges taste like crap, but, if you purchase the Green Puffer cartridges. I have the Mint Leaf cartridges and they are SO much better than the 51 Duo cartridges.

finally, some fuckin honesty on an ecig review. the internet is flooded with too many b.s. claims of long battery life, long cartridge life, and a buttload of sales-pitch horseshit. i tried one ecig, absolutely loved it for an hour, then quickly realized it would cost twice as much as smoking a regular cigarette. does a good brand exist??? i'm sick of hunting. i've just about given up.

i have to disagree with you very strongly john i bought the 51 duo and i have not had a cig. in over 3 and a half months i didnt even have to try to quit smokeing i think it tasted great! and most deff. helps with my nicotine craveings .... i dont know how it doesnt work for you as well as it does for me or my friends that all 100% love it i feel so much better and my sence of taste and smell are amazing now and im saveing alot of money!! i hope this doesnt stop to many ppl from giving it a try
