i'm sure your father doesn't want you to do fashion design because of the industry, but if you are WISE enough to survive the fashion industry, your father will change his mind. overall, he can disapprove of your dream/goal/etc., but he CAN'T stop you from pursuing your goal (if you take fashion design SERIOUSLY).

@videocrack246 are you serious? okay... it is WISE to think of your goal, not to worry about what ANYBODY (yes, i'm talking about your family, friends, acquaintances, enemies, etc. ANYBODY!) has to think of you. if you want to be a fashion designer, despite the fact that your father doesn't want you to do fashion design, YOU MUST WORK FOR IT.

LMAO, its Haute Couture people....is not geared towards the economy or global crisis. Is fashion for the sake of fashion. And, its classic with a new twist, have to know your fashion to realize that. If you want clothes that are geard towards the economy, go to walmart. Haute Courture is not even meant to be sold to the masses, is simply artistic expression of a designer like a painter or sculture
