Channel 3: Fisher Loses Lawsuit W/Victims Families

I published a comic book about Jeffrey Dahmer that got me into a lot of hot water. Some reporter in Milwaukee took my comic book to the victims families homes and shoved it in their faces to upset them on camera. It worked. They had a parasite lawyer come along, and they sued my butt off. This is the news of me losing the first part of my case.

Without even seeing the content at all, I must say that this is obviously a Constitutional violation of the freedom of the press. And also, public figures typically do NOT have rights against anything published about them. i.e. actors, politicians, musicians, etc.... Beyond that, it may be considered a parody which is covered under "fair use" in copyright law. There are probably millions of valid legal arguments to use....

you know, I haven't seen the comic, so it's hard to judge. I believe everyone has the right to freedom of speech, even in this venue. But like porn, anything explicit should be rated and sales regulated by age.

i really respect your courage and bold creativity...its so obvious the deciet and greed with the families and media, but this was many years ago...but is good theres these videos up to document these tragic times when people get hasseled over highly intelligent factually based works of art.

I believe in freedom but thats just sick and so disrespectful to the families. How can he say they're just after the money? I think it was him that was digging for gold.
