Designed by Neotoy, printed by Shapeways.
Made specifically for Canon EOS Rebel T2i but will still fit the XT.
Question: Can I buy one of these from you?
Answer: DIY stands for "Do It Yourself", the ring light in this video is composed of 3D printed parts, electronics & other sundry hardware. In order to recreate it you would need to buy all of these components and assemble them yourself using special tools. The Shapeways link only lets you buy the 3D printed parts which are effectively useless by themselves.
Sorry but I am too busy with other projects to make a ring light for you, that is why I originally titled this video "DIY".
Would this ring light work for 6D, 7D or 5D MKII or any other camera?
I have no idea so please stop asking, I've only tested it with xt and t2i. If I had a T3i laying around I'd test it! I can only tell you that the camera body designs do change a bit from model to model. For example while it fits the original xt it's not a perfect fit. Probably would be the same case for the T3i.
The mount will attach to any canon foot, but as for the ring there is really no telling how it will fit if the lens placement is different from the aforementioned models. Download the model from Shapeways, open it in your 3D modeling program of choice and take measurements. That would be the best way to find out.
