I heard that most of his songs were autobiographical. If this is the case the man had one horrific life.

@asifineededaname I am going on ten years and still no sign of losing interest. Morphine will be with me to the day I die. Zep were my band growing up (They hold a special place in my heart) but Morphine has taken over as my favorite band of all time. I spread the gospel wherever I can.

I just saw this film at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Really well done, didn't know much about Mark Sandman going into this, I thought it was a very powerful film about a band that might have been forgotten if it was not for the work of these filmmakers that really put their heart into a great doc about a great band that few (myself included), might have never known about. It's a wonderful look into the process of a highly creative musician, that come far and few these days.

wow I used to use cure for pain as one of my old radio show names and the song as the into...you could always hear it in their music..no wonder I felt such a strong connection to em back in the day..just seeing a quick glimpse of his history...so much loss...sadly I know it all too well
Beautifully edited trailer for what looks to be a truly excellent production. Great to see all these respectable musicians praising Morphine and Mark Sandman. Great to see the comments from Conan and Stewart. Great to hear the music and catch a glimpse into what helped drive this incredible musician. He is terribly missed in Boston, and, I'm sure, all around the world. Can't wait for this film. Will BUY this DVD! Buena, buena, buena, GOOD-GOOD-GOOD!!
