Italy - Italia Music Composition & Photographs

These are some photographs that I did during my 2008 vacation in Italy. You will see Ancient Towns built entirely with stone, landscape by height up to 800 metres, beautiful mountains, hills and clear sea. About the Music,to accompany these photographs I have chosen a Classical Guitar, which is the "Musiclab Real Guitar Plugin"

The coast (on Tyrrhenian Sea) is located betwenn Paestum and the Gulf of Policastro, near the town of Sapri. More of touristic towns by the coast are "frazioni"; as for example Santa Maria di Castellabate, Acciaroli, Velia, Palinuro, Marina di Camerota, Scario and Policastro Bussentino.
The inner boundaries are the Alburni mountains and Vallo di Diano, sometimes considered as part of cilentan geographical region, which has in Sala Consilina its largest center. The most important towns in this area are Vallo della Lucania (in the middle), Sapri and Agropoli: this is the largest town of Cilento and the principal harbour. Most of this area is included in "Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park".

L'Umbria, posta nel cuore d'Italia, con i suoi 8.456 km² di superficie (6.334 la provincia di Perugia e i restanti 2.122 quella di Terni) è una tra le più piccole regioni italiane e l'unica a non avere confini esterni, terrestri o marittimi. È anche l'unica regione dell'Italia peninsulare a non essere bagnata dal mare. Confina ad est ed a nord-est con le Marche, ad ovest e nord-ovest con la Toscana ed a sud e sud-ovest con il Lazio.


Il Cilento è una subregione montuosa della Campania che si protende come una penisola tra i golfi di Salerno e di Policastro, nella zona meridionale della regione.
Fino alla creazione del Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Di Diano il territorio cilentano era individuato tra i paesi ai piedi del Monte della Stella (1131 mt) e altri delimitati est dal Fiume Alento. Per ragioni politico-economiche si è voluto estendere il Cilento a buona parte della provincia costiera e interna meridionale di Salerno. Anticamente il Cilento era parte della Lucania (insieme con il Vallo di Diano e il golfo di Policastro). Ne è rimasto segno nel dialetto, nelle tradizioni gastronomiche e nella toponomastica (Vallo della Lucania, Atena Lucana).

What's amazing to me is that you play the way a fingerstyle guitarist would actually play. The choice of notes and timing, strum mimics, bends, etc combined with advance digital sampling make up beautiful sound. Pianistaltaliano, you are a master musician!

Beautiful piece of music!

To best recreate the guitar playing techniques, try to play some muted sounds and down/up chord strums at the end of some melodic lines.

Those keys are from C1 to D#1 where white keys repeats the last played notes up/down and black keys repeats a muted sound of the las played notes.

Also, if your keyboard has aftertouch, is a good idea to configure it to obtain some modulation on pressed keys.

I thank you for your advice Jaleo360. However even though I know some bit the features of this software ;-), I do not think that a muted sound in this song fits as well as down/up technique. Maybe by the next composition :)
