His concept relyes on balance of movements. Everytime he throws a punch or kick, his body moves backwards a few inches to compensate and kee the CG in place. This way, you don't waste energy.

@camway11 He would not be able to hit me 10 times as you say! as usual his vids are choreographed, i've yet to see him doing hard sparring or put himself forward for some sort of no holds barred comp ie vale tudo and in real vale tudo anything goes. If you want a real jkd guy check out Rick young look at his site and you'll see that his credentials are way above TC , also Tc shit it from Rick young when challenged manys years ago over tc badmouthing Dan Inosanto. I trained jkd back in 1985.
