I'd put 'Fear Of Music' and 'Remain In Light' up against any albums in the history of rock (including The Beatles!!) and they would hold up well. PHRIGGIN-UNBELIEVA-CRAZY-AWESOME-SUPER-NASTY-MUSIC.

How did we get through that second guitar solo without the spotlight being on Adrian Belew???

Is not just a question of your own body and what feels most fluid for you? Not being sarcastic, I don't play guitar, I just had no idea there was anything to it other than what felt right to the individual musician?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - if Eno had been there, it would have been perfect.

Dude it's just a stupid way of playing guitar is all. He's free to to do it, I love him and Talking Heads, it's just a bit poser-ish is all; something all the glam metal bands do.

I like prog but listen to shitloads of new wave/funk too. I just think it's a stupid way of playing guitar, and every guitarist I've ever talked to about it agrees.

    I'm with you.

i think it'd be better but he got hamstrung by the era.

there are moments where that solo sounds great, and moments where it sounds so hideously dated.

at times it sticks out like a sore thumb in the midst of all the other interlocking musical pieces that sound so timeless.

but WHAT he's doing? Oh man. i love the weirder parts.. the more traditional shredding i could do without.
