  • hey sir. great vid. im just wondering i have the same macbook and im an average user of mac and i only run google chrome to watch vids and download usibg torrent. and simple ms office stuffs like word. u think i should upgrade to 8gb?

  • @crimsoninred I do not think you need 8GB of RAM just for the tasks you want to do. Random Access Memory (RAM) helps your computer handle tasks like switching a lot of open pages at one time and it is also used in more advanced programs like Photoshop and video editing software to help processing time. However RAM for the Macbook Pro is now cheap around $50, so if you want a slightly faster machine and a quicker response while changing pages I say upgrade to 8GB or RAM.

  • what is a website that i can get this ram from?

  • @aimalac3 Macsales.com is a great website that is easy to find what you are looking for, at a great price

  • thanks for this video i was actually going to pay someone $50 to do it for me then i was like "hmm maybe its easy, ill search youtube"

  • @msfili Thank you for watching this video. I'm glad I could save you $50.
