@jimfear666 Have you heard any songs by a band called Lock Up? That was his first major gig, but they fizzled out within a year. His roots are pure 80s shredding. He knows a lot more than just effects, that's just the style he settled into for RATM and what he's known for.

lol @ those who think morello is a good guitarist.... Most of his playing is with lame guitar effect mixing stuff like wahwah and phaser but when you are a fucking noob who dont know shit about guitar... i guess you must think that he's a god but in fact... He sucks hard. But yeah he's original in his style but he's not a great player.
