fair play to you paddy,you had to write about wrong...my kids will be so proud of you...have always told them we are all flesh and blood no matter what race or colour.and never think we are better than anyone else..we in Ireland were in the same boat in a different century

I saw him before christmas with a much smaller band(3 piece) and I thought it was way better.

i was a foot away from him tonight but didnt have the courage to talk to him. he gave a shout out to her daughter during the performance though haha it was so sweet.

I find it interesting that this song has such a middle eastern flavor, while Paddy is Irish. Very interesting. And the melody is lovely, and the lyrics absolutely move me. Deeply. This guy is great. I gotta get some of his albums now.

Just heard him for the first time at SXSW. I will have to seek out some of his albums. This song in particular stuck in my memory. I think I have a new artist to follow around.
