A former ESL teacher from Chuncheon, South Korea, makes a spicy Korean-style Fettucini Alfredo, by adding dak-kalbi sauce (Korean spicy/sweet chicken BBQ sauce) to the usually mild alfredo sauce.

강원도 춘천의 전직 ESL 영어 선생님께서 부드러운 알프레도 소스에 맵콤달콤한 닭갈비 양념을 넣어, 한국 스타일의 매운 페투치니 알프레도를 요리합니다.

  • you had me till you said cream cheese ... sorry i don't like it lol but the rest looks good..

  • You can either substitute marscapone or neufchatel cheese for the cream cheese.

  • I JUST MADE IT!!! It is great! Here in Korea, of course, the hardest thing to find I thought would be the quality Parmesan, but real Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), cheese from Parma I found at Samsung Plaza Grocery in Bundang. (Oh, I hate to do any plugs for business, but that market is great! It has everything from Durian to PDO Brie, Camembert, Japanese "Vermont" curry, Mexican sausage, even Ben n Jerry's!)

  • How easy is it to find cream cheese in Korea?
