its obvious that the anti glare is better... unless you have a fetish for blinding glare?

@cEeCeEwEe33313 Pro.
air is good, but only if you're always on the go and dont care about using cd's/dvd's, you'd have to carry a external optical drive with you if you buy mb air, on pro you can have a lot of upgrades...

I like the glare :P

AHHH! i just read all the comments about glossy vs anti-glare....now decision making just got a lot worse! >.< ...anyways...i'll just wait for what the next upgrade will be..... how about anti-glare with the appeal of glossy? wouldn't that just make everything a lot better?

Depends on how you plan to use it. If surfing or email and just basic web stuff, and air is a great solution. If doing lots of heavy storage like Photoshop or massive iTunes library, then I would go pro. I have both and understand that one is for different functions than the other.

should i get a macbook air or pro

I want to get the 15" hi-res glossy, but they are not available in-store. I don't wanna wait for the 1 week shipment, so I got no choice and decided to go for the 15" hi-res AG.

That iPhone you use outdoors and in all sorts of lighting conditions ? It has the "glare" screen. My point here is that the reflection problems with the MacBook Pro glossy screen are exaggerated, imo. I believe that the iPad also uses the glossy screen. For deep blacks and vivid colors...get the glossy screen. The matte screen may be the most useable under extreme circumstances, but it's dull-looking compared to the glossy.

I don't know cuz I like the black but I like no glare and the white looks weird
Alright...so obviously the antiglare is a lot better given the circumstance, but it seems as if the one with the glare gives the impression of richer colours, and I just like the glossy look of it to begin with, as well as the black borderline. Is there a definite difference in appearance from the two besides those factors?

@delshayDiCamilliano It does appear richer, but the reflection can be a bit much. Like to watch the movies and not watch myself watching movies. Kind of scary.

Should I get 15" or 17" anti-glare?

@foxIIbassoonist 15 is more than enough in my opinion. 17 just more bulk for a couple inches.
