This is really a discussion about how both the Springfield XDM and the Gen 4 Glock's are both excellent pistols and to clear up any misconceptions. Please feel free to post any questions or comments. The Gen 4 Glock is chambered in .40 cal. and The XDM is chambered in 45 ACP. Like I mentioned in the video, both these pistols perform flawless!! Over 2,000 rounds through each with absolutely no problems!! Thanks for watching!!

  • Good sensible review, I also own both. Got to say I like my XDM a little more every time I shoot.

  • @13715444 Thanks man, much appreciated!! Sounds like we have similar taste in guns!!

  • Good video buddy. I own the XDM 9mm compact, Glock 17 3rd gen and Glock 26 4th gen. I also think all are super reliable. Would trust in them when needed. I have shot all kinds of ammo and the only ones that I have had issues with have been a few fail to fire with TulAmmo. I like the XDM trigger better, just seems smoother.

  • @neb4152 To not compare apples to oranges, I have the 9mm XDm, and I get locally manufactured (Lewiston, ID) Blazer and Tulammo 115gr steel casings to fire through my XDm with no problem at all. In fact, because they're local, they are $9 /50 rds, and I have shot about 2000 of these through my XDm without a battery failure, stovepipe, or anything. If your Sig has a problem, then maybe the XDm is a better engineered firearm. Just maybe.

  • great video. I'm in the market to buy my first gun and I was torn between the glock and xdm. I did put a Glock 17 RTF2 on layaway but had doubts if I should go to the xdm. Since they make Glocks in my home state I went with the Glock for more other reasons then that.

  • @slcslobalt Yes, definitely go get a Gen 4 Glock cause that little problem has been fixed along time ago. And that problem only existed on the 9mm cause Glock tried to make the 9mm and .40 caliber springs interchangable. That obviously didnt work, so they quickly designed a new recoil spring system specifically for the 9mm. Long story short, that issue was addressed a couple years ago. Gen 4's in my opinion are the best Glocks yet!! You will love it guaranteed!!

  • @damon323 i have heard aton of negative g4's jamming because of the new recoil spring system... numerous numerous departments have had issues and returned there g4's... do u know if these problems fixed? im really interested in a g22 gotta love the .40 =)

  • @J1613R ...The Gen 4 Glocks are definitely the best generation yet in my opinion. Anybody that may try to tell you different are probably just repeating something they've heard and have had zero experience with Gen 4's,... which means they have no idea what they are talking about and are stuck in a time warp...lol!! You'll love your G4 for sure, good choice Bro!!!
