They def sampled Ken's theme from street fighter...or vice versa...either way I'm going to play some Street Fighter then watch Top Gun

@marshyovbfd its also a design almost 40 years old i think (yeah it was developed in the 60s/70s) Perhaps if they had a group other then lockeed's playing with themselves designing their F22 and F-35 (ill admit, they're good planes, but they've been in development for over 20 years, and they cost too much.) We might have more next gen aircraft. But it all comes down to politics. And which politicians have stock in what companies.

I must have read the NOTAM manual for the F-14 hundreds of times after I saw this movie in the 90s Simply amazing aircraft!
I wish the Iranians still were able to fly the F14s and maintain them properly - it still is the most beautiful aircraft ever made for war!
