Route 73 is known as the Arrhur's Pass road going from Christchurch on the East Coast to route 6 on the West Coast. A beautiful drive through the Southern Alps. A hughlight is the Otira Bridge.....

@gzyteck Going to Souh Island for 5 days in the beginning of September. Renting a car and doing the loop. Christchurch, Fox Glacier, Queenstown, and back....

February is the best month. Weather is stable and better chance of sunny days, lack of travelers on the road and at the various tourist spots.
