So it's true that A Grand Day Out was first broadcast on C4. All the other short films have debuted on BBC at Xmas.

I remember that night. Idents made up of scenes from whatever animation was next with the 4 showing up in in the middle of it. I liked it because I could safely watch Channel 4 without that scary ident scaring me to death.
