not only does the musik follow the lyrics, but the guitar playing and solo is very interesting and colorful. damn. puts a lot of famous musicians to shame. at least they should be ashamed.

it very well may be. Josh Mckay sung the lead on a few tracks of this era also, so its difficult. the general feeling seems to be that its not River's vocal on 'blue period' and the vocal on blue period matches the vocal on this one- that would point to mckay singing both. makes sense in a way as blue period, goldmine, across the way and too many colors were sold on a tape at the bands gigs- so that would mean 2 were river's vocal and 2 mckays vocal. its difficult to figure out 100% though!
