Detroit Tigers opening on WDIV Ch. 4, Aug. 21, 1987.wmv

The opening of the broadcast between the Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians on Fri. Aug. 21, 1987 @ 5pm on WDIV TV Ch. 4 in Detroit. Only known copy of this... even WDIV doesn't have it. Recorded both games of the DH that night which didn't end until 1:37 am on Saturday morning. Tigers lost both.

@ccfc73 Mmm... hate to say it, but I think Ernie Harwell and Paul Carey were even better. But only slightly.

I grew up with George and Al on TV, and Ernie and Paul on the radio... I never knew how good I had it back then.

Wow that opening! Ahh the memories. Best part is hearing that old familiar voice that takes me back to my childhood. "Hello I'm George Kell along with Al Kaline". RIP my friends.
