    The expression "F-A-B" didn't really stand for anything. It was just the word "fab" spelled out -- 1960s slang for "great, excellent."

    Ah the marvells of wikipedia, I saw a tv documentary with either gerry or sylvia anderson where FAB was said to stand for nothing. It was simply one of those buzz words that (Syvia I think) liked the sound of.
