Fedor just needed to be a little more patient - sports science dictates that a 16half stone Fedor - would have more stamina speed, fresher sharper etc in the 3rd round than a 20stone+ Silva. Taking nothing away from Silva - he was the better man over the 2 rounds and it was the correct thing to do to stop the fight however if Fedors eye wasnt that bashed up and he could see and they were about to start the 3rd round and I had to place a bet - it would be on Fedor.

made me so sad to see Fedor lose - how can any1 not like the guy - by far the most humble and best ever. Strikeforce fans seem more refined and more educated tan the UFC bunch I see - probably because they choose to follow the sport - instead of having it aggressively rammed down their neck via every marketing channel by the UFC ((WWE, XBOX etc etc).Furthermore Fedor earned more v Hendo than the entire wage bill at UFC 135 (1.6M$) THAT is the only reason Dana dislikes Fedor.

I was never a fan of Fedor but I loved how he made Dana White look like a jackass for all those years. Even though I wasn’t a fan I respect what he did 4 the sport and it was sad watching him get beat like that to Silva.
I personally think its going to be Overeem vs Kharitonov in the Final, in Overeem you have a Abu-Dhabi Submission Grappling Champion who also happens to be the best Striker on the planet, and Kharitonov is a K-1 striker who started off as a grappler. It gets no better.
