Gears of War Character Movement Speed comparison

Disclaimer: I don't hate Epic Games, Gears of War 2 or anyone involved with the game. I love the game, I just think a speed increase for multiplayer could increase the fun.

If you've played Gears 1 and Gears 2 enough you will realise that characters move slower in Gears 2. This slower pace makes the game less frantic and because the evade is the same as it was in Gears 1 it means people will roll to move faster when roadie running. There was no need for it in Gears 1. So, I've made this video to display the difference in the hopes that Epic can consider increasing the speed of Gears 2 multiplayer to Gears 1 standards for a future update, or at the very least return the speed for Gears of War 3.

Seems Epic took notice and made sure they upped the movement speed back to it's original state for Gears 3. This was a success! :D

i always figured it was because theres a lot more going on in the game in the second one than in the second they they had to bring down the framerate .... hmmm cause if you have too much going on too fast it could make the game crash or whatever?

@DeadReckoning93 Nope. Completely and utterly wrong. If anything the framerate is better in Gears 2. Watch the other video.

All I will say is hears 1 the characters felt like tanks. Although movement is slower in 2, characters control more smoothly
