As with many of the more complex VTech devices, this one's full of glitches!
As well as the tried and tested CPU Hold button, I've installed a 555 circuit which acts a timestretch control, alternating between hold and release - one knob to control how long it holds the clock for, and one to control how long it lets it run. Makes for some great semi-granular timestretching or some quirky jumping effects!

  • Does it need to be plugged into something or can it emit the noise on its own?

  • @Hentaifreak50 It has a built in speaker and runs from batteries, so can be used entirely standalone :-)
