深夜の新名神では聴いてはいけない曲ww。

I think the earliest recording of this song was by Mihalis Patrinos in 1927 and was called Mousourlu which is the Greek for Miserlou which means Girl from Misr (Egypt)
-
when did the del tones release this recording?
-
@TheRepoManHimself Actually, Dick Dale has given the song his approval and has even sung (or attempted to sing) the lyrics in shows on some occasions. I must agree with you, however — he's far more talented than all of the Black Eyed Peas combined.
-
@boinkburger Wrong. Misirlou is actually a greek song that's been around since the 20's, Dick just covered it and put his own spin on it which made it a classic.
-
Why does the Black Eyed Peas have a habit of taking Amazing songs and just reduces them to the lowest common denominator?
-
@boinkburger lol..try to search misirlou ;) its a greek song son
-
THIS IS GREEK MUSIC
-
Not Greek at all. Dick Dale is of Lebanese decent. His influences came from his Uncle who played belly dancing music.
-
@glargin2 Me too. They suck. Mainstream shit.

@TheRepoManHimself Actually thi isn't Dick Dale's song...this is a song coming from Greece since 1930... :-)
