  • Chanson: You are awesome! Thanks for uploading some Master Wu's performance. We certainly do need some master's performance on youtube.

By the way, are you a student OF Master Wu?

  • No, I really wish I could, he's the greatest of the greatest

  • that is fantastic

  • Thank you for uploading; it is wonderful to see one of the greatest guqin artists playing this piece. Are there any videos of Master Wu playing "Guanglingsan" on YouTube?

  • Such relaxing music!

  • very inspiring, I wrote this listening to it over and over again... Vibrating in thin air Pure as mountain snow Long forgotten melody For my meditating soul Far in our dreams Floating on a lonely leaf Kind as dance of rain Eternal peace within Petals of simplicity Falling on my life Elusive myth of sound Lost in teary eyes
  • Every time I hear this piece of music, the picture of flowing water and green mountains will come up in my mind... this is just a great piece..So peaceful and relaxing....and full of the taste of Zen. Thanks for uploading! ( I am a Guqin learner in HK)

  • As I watched so many versions of Flowing Water, Wu is no doubt the best...

  • It's great to see clearly the hands of a quqin (qin) player. It's great to hear clearly - while watching the hands - the various types of fingerings, pluckings, slidings, hammerings, harmonics, vibratos, sounds, and all that. This is a beautifully-played piece.

  • I wish YouTube didn't distort the louder arpeggios, which is a bit jarring. But I can hear many of the other sounds clearly, like the fan yin (泛音), or "floating sounds" (similar to the guitar technique called "hammer on," or "hammering on." Thank you, Chanson Wang, for this video (and your others).

  • His 72 gunfu section is mind blowing...
