Blender "Test" Animation

This is a Blender 3D animation I created. It was a test in two ways. One for the reason it was made and because of what you see.

Nice I'm still trying to get used to modeling. How long have you been using this program and did you take any professional classes?

Hello Kajinking, I have been using Blender now for around seven or eight years. This particular animation I did quite some time back. I have been working on my own using Blender and did not have any "Professional" training. Actually I have been thinking about teaching Blender as I now have the time to do so. Thanks for the comment. The "S" took about three or four times longer to create the cut out then any of the other letter. I think the effort was worth it.

I didn't use either booleans or knife tools. I took the text and created it in Blender. Then I took the red wall and subdivided the wall a number of times. Then I just started removing what vertices I needed and opened up the cut out letters to match the text. Not difficult and the effect worked out better then I could have hoped after rendering the animation. Thanks for the questions.
