Who is Anonymous?

Hello, citizens of the Internet. This is Anonymous.
It has come to our attention that many of you do not understand who we are and what we are trying to accomplish. Allow me to attempt to clear it up for you.
First of all, we are not a group of hackers. As we come from all walks of life, some of us are of course hackers, but it is a small amount. We are simply a group of people. A group of people who understands when something is wrong, and will attempt to make it right.
I talk, of course, about the church of scientology. However, we want it to be known that we do not seek to take down scientologists, or even scientology itself. We only want to destroy the organisation in it's current form, and it's criminal activities. We want the people within scientology to know the truth about it. I will not get into the details of why we wish to take this evil organisation down, for that has already been explained. That is not the purpose of this video. This video was made to clear up the misconceptions, and tell you more about, Anonymous.
We do not exist for the purpose of taking down scientology, however. We have existed for a long time, and this is only our current mission.
Regarding the hacking, threatening phone calls, etc... We have been said to "ruin people's lives." This is untrue. While we may frighten people, we would never actually harm an innocent, that is, anyone who has not crossed us. With everyone who we have "attacked," I have no doubt that they are okay. We may have shaken them a bit, but they are fine. We don't seek to blow things up, we don't seek to hurt anyone. We have gotten a hold of my space accounts, but how much damage can we do with that? Ruin the page? The person has to make a new one, big deal.
We laugh at tragedy because someone has to. We laugh at tragedy because you can't get sad over everything. We laugh at tragedy to make it lesser, to make the sadness powerless.
Be wary of the media's account of us. They have little information on us, and are therefore forced to assume the rumors about us are true. It seems Anonymous is the only one you can trust about information about Anonymous. Don't believe the lies of others.
Perhaps the most dangerous lie about us is that we are a group of terrorists. We absolutely are not. We are simply a group trying to change things for the better.
We are the embodiment of chaos, but please understand what that means. Chaos does not mean danger, or a lack of rules, in this case. Chaos means change. We seek change, because when something is wrong, it needs to change.
There is also some confusion about why we wear masks. It is not to hide our identities. It is because we are Anonymous. While we are Anonymous, we are part only of the collective, and as such, have no individual identity.
If you wish to join us, and are not an Anonymous, but simply someone who supports our cause, please show up to your local scientology center at 11 am on February 10th. It is advised that you cover your face, as scientologists are known to take pictures of those to oppose them, and harass them.

1) They wear the 'Guy Fawkes' Mask. (Do some research on him - if you want.)

2) They have goals and ideals that seem direct and to the point.

3 Their goals seem to pertain to the export of honest information - and correcting any wrongs in society.

4) If their goals are not direct and good (by end and intent) then, by all means - they should stop. You.. you hate something you don't understand.. something Anonymous.. ;)
