@stevegoldfield This was known as Lone Star Rag when I learned it many years ago. It is close enough to Stone's Rag to be the same tune except Stone's is a little more "square". East Tennessee Blues is a similar tune but different enough to be it's own tune. I would not call this ETB. There is another Lone Star Rag in "A" as well that is common among Texas fiddlers. I play all of them.

My mistake, "Lone Star Rag" is actually "Stone's Rag." It was composed by Oscar Stone, who fiddled with Dr. Humphrey Bates' Possum Hunters, one of the first bands on the Grand Ole Opry.
