  • yes, Filipinos are really good singers. I know because I am Filipino. But the problem is that most of the songs that are being released today by our artist are just revivals. Which I think is one of the factors why Filipinos would rather like other countries music, because almost all of them are originals and very creative. I'm just telling the truth, so don't bash me. And I do really hope that Filipino composers should make more AWESOME music for our artist. kasi may ibubuga naman tayo

  • IF YOU WANT FILIPINOS TO HEAR AND TO BROADCAST FILIPINO LOCAL MUSIC,...PLEASE CREATE GOOD SONGS..THE ONES THAT REALLY STAND OUT...AND DONT EVEN THINK OF COPYING KPOP BANDS..... FILIPINOS CAN DO IT...AND WHO KNOWS>? MAYBE AFTER SOME YEARS PINOYS MIGHT GET TIRED OF KPOP AND MAKE THEIR OWN....PLEASE DONT FORGET WHO YOU ARE FILIPINOS....:)

  • Doesn't mean we love KPOP, hate na namin ang sarili naming kultura. I'm really proud to be Pinoy, despite all the things you can describe to our country, particularly the negative ones. I think most of the things I want to say are here already.

  • @beasien Thank you! Finally, an opinion that's right! I guess the main trouble is Pinoy Pop is producing similar music to K-Pop. XLR8's songs can be pinpointed to Super Junior. Pop Girls to Wonder Girls and GirlSquad to Girls Generation. Frankly, I'm saddened by the fact that Filipinos aren't standing out when it comes to originality.

I know this is really late but I've been learning Korean as well. Would you mind my asking how long it took you to learn the language? ^^

  • @WishCRUS4D3R How is aishiteruarashi following the crowd? Just because someone likes K-Pop, it doesn't mean that they're following the crowd. Following the crowd would be liking music BECAUSE a lot of people like it.

  • I like Kpop and OPM but most songs made in the philippines today aren't as good as back in the 70s-90s

  • almost everyone was a fan of kpop/kdrama they always give something that attracts viewers which i think pinoys can do that also its just that they are focusing too much on revivals which made most of the us switch to foreign films and musics! but hey Filipinos are good singers and actors just think of something new instead of doin revivals and complaining about our music/film industry goin down!

  • I hate it when KPOP is being featured in Philippine TV. They only talk about 2NE1 not because it really is popular but because of Dara. They didn't even talk about Super Junior or SNSD. And during the documentation, they only played Nobody, Fire, Lollipop.

And also to the people that don't want us to like KPOP, don't blame us because it really is good. I personally like OPM because that what's Filipino are famous for. But don't make us like P-Pop because they are just like trying to copy KPOP.

  • TANONG lang. may noraebang ba na romanized yung lyrics? yung mababasa yung lyrics.

  • @aishiteruarashi shouldn't it be up you to people like you to 'be creative' instead of just following the crowd all the time?
