WD My Passport Studio - ukázka / demonstration

Na internetu (v CzechComputer.cz) jsem si objednal uvedený disk, ale nový model, který jsem obdržel, se docela lišil od objednaného. Barva pouzdra není černá, ale bílá, v krabici jsou i kabely pro připojení k počítači (taky bílé) a port USB byl změněn z varianty mini na micro. Disk je určený především pro Macy, což je uvedeno i na krabici, a kromě barvy a způsobu balení se to dá poznat i tím, že je naformátovaný do HFS+. Dále disk obsahuje displej, ze kterého jsem nejdřív nebyl nadšený, ale použitá technologie elektronického papíru (inkoustu) ho ospravedlňuje. Na disku se taky nachází bílá LED dioda, která oznamuje činnost disku. Ovšem pokud disk stojí (počítač může být uspaný), docela agresivně bliká.

I ordered the disk in the internet (in CzechComputer.cz). The new model I got is slightly different. Color of the cover is not black but white and there are cables (also white) to connect the disk to computer and the USB port was changed from version mini to micro. The disk is meant especially for Macs. It is written on the box, then the white cables and way of boxing and last but not least the disk is formatted to HFS+. The disk also contains a display which I was not excited about at the beginning but the used e-paper (e-ink) technology legitimatizes it. A white LED announces disk activity. If the disk is stopped (computer can be sleeping), it flashes quite aggressively.

you should have let me know you were looking for one that size, i just sold one on ebay, lol. My drives now are 500 and one terabyte in size

@johnmonk66 I have this 320GB for photos and 1TB for backup now. Has the disk you sold FireWire connection? I have chosen one with it to not waste a USB port since Macs don't have plenty of them.

@MirekMateju yes, it had firewire, as does my 500 gig which I will be hooking up to my mac mini(just bought an old g4 mac mini for itunes).
