Marching and parading of soldiers amidst the crowd, singing, waving flags and chanting "Pakistan zindabad" (Long live Pakistan), "Allah-u-akbar" (God is great) and "La ilaha il Allah" (There is no god but God) on the pakistani side of the border, whereas in India shouts of "Hindustan zindabad" (Long live India) and the national anthem are heard. Whaga lies halfway between the cities of Lahore (pakistani Punjab) and Amritsar (indian Punjab) and the ceremony shown is perfromed twice every day as "Flag rising" in the morning and "Flag lowering" in the evening.
