  • Most people working in Dubai, chose to work here, because this most likely presented better opportunities than what they would ever have had wherever they come from. Nobody is forced to work here, and the wages is equal to, and in most cases better than in most other "first world countries". Sure, not everybody have the same religious believes, but it costs nothing to leave space for respect towards others

  • As a reply to all the negative posts. Most of these posts are from individuals that have never even been to Dubai. Personally, from a foreigner's perspective, living in Dubai, at least here I get treated with more respect than in my home country, where you get mugged at gunpoint, and your personal space invaded, and belongings stolen. Dubai-no taxes, good healthcare, personal safety.. etc. By the way, the local Emirati treat foreigners better than the foreigners treat each other in Dubai.

  • A serious question..whose brains were used to make this? Was it the Japs, the Brits, the Yanks or the East Indians? Cos im sure towelheads dont have the brains to do anything remotely clever other than humpin camels, blowin themselves up or molesting 9 year old kids...Well they wud make great cannon fodder..LMAO

  • @javadjon To many people on earth already so good to see atleast the poor who have 4+ children to something good for the rest of us

  • Wait til Singapore's Downtown Line finish in 2017. It'll beat the record. :)

  • Chinese are export city subway & bullet train system everywhere, Poland, Brazil, Bumbey,Vanuzuela, Dubai...

  • only people that will be riding that are foreigners and the immigrant workers that built it. that native dubai people will be in euro luxo barges and suvs.

  • Well since they don't post any ridership numbers since the first two days... and the fact most of the construction is now stalled... there's no way Dubai's system is anywhere near Vancouver's Skytrain and probably won't be for a while.

  • all of dubai have been built using foreign technology. All of it came from europe and the usa. You might have the money but still it wasnt your invention to begin with
