For me the greatest of all (Jews or otherwise) was Ofra Haza.
...once described as "Like Barbra Streisand, but with something more"...
Listening to this, taking nothing away from Barbra, Ofra actually had something a helluvalot more. Even her most dramatic power came forth with a kind of effortless ease and sweetness.
This is why I listen to her voice every day.
