I have a feeling that its a tad higher than 4000 and 8000. Just basing this opinion off of the revs that it can produce, after all they do redline at around 17000 if I'm not mistaken. But you could be right.

if i had to guess, not to go past 4000rpms up to 500 miles and then not past 6000rpms up to 800miles. there coated cylinder walls ,not slaves, so if you don't brake them in properly the coating sheers off and makes the bike smoke at start up and at hi rpms.
