Why are there not very many (if any) bird or reptile furries? The most popular seem to be canines (wolf, coyote, jackal, dog, etc) and felines (tiger, lion, cat, panther, etc). I am a Cougar furry and I do notice only 1 feline (tiger) in this video. Also, there is a rabbit in this video. My friend I'm working with is still trying to chisel out his Fursona and it's between a Coyote and a Hawk.

Because those are the animals that are most familiar to people in pop culture and the most recognizable species. Also, a lot of the social parts of furry work kind like a wolf pack, so it kinda makes sense.
