Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup with sound! Short demo.

(last updated 08-21-10) Tested on 0.7.1 for Windows

This is a video preview of a collection of sound files that can be added to the configuration file of Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup (http://crawl.develz.org/wordpress/) to enable sounds for certain events in the game.

The required installation files are available at mediafire here: http://www.mediafire.com/?stovg4gtmtmq2

Installation steps:
1) Open SS_sound_addon.txt in a text editor program, and select-all then copy all of the text
2) Open settings/init.txt in a text editor program (it is located in the DCSS game folder)
3) Paste the text from SS_sound_addon.txt at the end of settings/init.txt
4) Extract the contents of sound.zip into a folder called "sound" in the DCSS game folder
5) (optional) send me an email (dungeonsounds@gmail.com) or leave me a comment if you have trouble installing

@Mushuukyou Sorry for the confusion, I meant the most recent current version (for windows) 0.7.1. Let me know if you still can't get the sounds to work, I'll work on a better installation guide. Thanks for the feedback!

I love the idea, but the sounds for melee combat didn't really sound too convincing. With a different lineup of sounds I think you have something here.
