What I,m saying is the music,such as two tone was made for totally different reasons to the ones today,ie crappy talent shows,it was produced by people inspired by greater artists than themselves,bigger talents,who in turn did the same,this made music that people have listened to for years,followed and bought faithfully,introduced their own children to.For the people of this era,radio and the record shop were our medium,as well as TV,latterly the internet.

Again you don,t get it,I never said radio sucks today,or any other day,what is on it sucks most of the time because it is manufactured,uninspired,talent­less rubbish.The medium and message are two totally different things.Decent music is hard to come by,because it is something that all and sundry think they can do,only talent produces the goods,only gifted people make that something you really want to buy or listen to.Manufactured music is no good.I,d prefer radio to television iin truth.

Okay so radio sucks today; start using something else. Pandora and Spotify work as radio stations. What I mean is don't say "there's no good music today" if you're choosing to stick with fm Radio when there's new tools that you can use.

You miss my point,many older music listeners like me never had "torrents,spotify,youtube" and we did very well without it,a lot of us grew up listening to the radio.Many of us are in workplaces where we still listen to the radio.You don,t get it,maybe you are not old enough to understand.Radio did more for the performing artist than any medium ever known and was around long before the internet came about,I,ll stick with it.And good music is in very short supply,most of it is uninspired now.

"Real Music" is still made. Maybe it’s because I don’t live in the states and I don’t listen to that much radio but I rarely hear Rihanna or Nicky Minaj. I listen to what I want to listen to. My point is that good bands are still out there just maybe not on the radio or tv all the time but nowdays who needs that? You got the internet, you have torrents, spotify and youtube; there's no need for finding artists through the radio.
