Here we have a good look at the Dynon D180 panel as we fly the CH750 light sport utility kitplane around the patch a few times. Notice the slow flight and cruise (with the fat tires and bubble doors).

  • Beautiful airplane, though the panel looks like it cost as much as the airplane....

    ;~)°

  • I believe our cost was about $10k ...

  • @zenithairco 10k? Does that include engine, Panel, airframe, etc.? If so, I'm buying that along with a RV-4. :D

  • @zenithairco but isint that panel what comes in the standerd finish kit?

  • LOL does that literally indicate MPH, or "Nautical Miles Per Hour" (Knots)? 'Cause if it's just miles per hour, 39MPH at a steady altitude!? xD Man you're flying below the ground speed limit LOL, that's plane's got some serious lift :D.

  • sweet

  • @zenithairco The whole thing? Engine and everything was only 10k? and how long a flight does it last for?

  • Looks like yuo have a problem with cylinder #5 at high load.

  • that looks like a real live version of fs.

  • Should there be a back up of the glass panel of at least an altimeter, attitude indicator and airspeed indicator? That is what everybody tells me. I like the clean look though? No compass??? or is that hidden?

  • @stratoleft Flight schools would love to do this, but federal regulations don't permit it. However, if the student owns or has a friend that has such a Experimental plane, and you have a willing instructor, that is allowed. Most insturctors don't have any problem with quite a few of the more popular experimental aircraft.

  • If there was a 125hp engine available that was light enough for this airplane (there may or may not be, I haven't looked yet), what types of cruise speeds would be expected? The 96mph in the video isn't bad, but a little more speed would be desirable :)
