A new study out today shows the number of children in the U.S. affected by food allergies is double the size of government estimates. Heather Nauert spoke to Dr. Marc Siegel about why these issues are so common and what parents can do to protect their children. Siegel says some of the reasons behind the rise may be due to the "hygiene hypothesis" - meaning that kids receive an abundance of vaccines that lower their immunities - as well as preservatives and toxins added to foods. Siegel recommends exposing children to foods likely to cause allergies and watching for allergic reactions early.

  • Not to worry, the government will quite soon 'tell' you what foods you can consume and which food products you 'can not' buy
