  • @qc

Hardcore Thor fan here, I agree, but I did enjoy the movie.

They did show how powerful Thor when he fought the frosh giants, but they didn't do enough Thor action, and really didn't show off enough of his powers. I'm sure any fan of the comics saw the Destroyer armor and was expecting an epic battle, but did not get it.

So... THOR AND THE HULK BETTER MAKE UP FOR IT IN THE AVENGERS MOVIE... That better be the best fight in the film BY FAR, or I'm automatically not gonna like it

  • did anyone else think that Kat Dennings was completely unnecessary in the movie?

  • @JDezi4 that is exactly what I am anticipating >:] hulk vs. thor is an epic match up!

*face palm* You are totally right about the frost giants. I did forget about them but they didn't seem so strong in the beginning lol.

    Thor ftw!

  • @BenderBurgers cosmic cube :D

  • i knew i should have stayed after the credits.Someone tell me what happened?

  • @chuckb11 Of course I understand there isn't a need for a villain -.- but that peril or danger, the hero's ultimate sacrifice when needed, I did not feel. Thor just walked through the movie, fine and dandy like he owned the place. I know that is part of his disposition, but honestly I did not feel that awesomeness of wanting to wield a hammer that can control thunder storms which should have come with the neighborhood(?):P I am sure hardcore thor fans felt it but as a "commoner" I did not

  • @quackingchurro Not every superhero movie needs a supervillain. Thor didn't start off facing supervillains. This was an origin story. Learn to comic.

  • @quackingchurro That is cause he is mighty.

  • as a 38 yrold comic nerd, i thought THOR was worth seeing on the big screen.

I dont think it was "mindblowingly awsome" though. NOT at all. cant say it was great eitehr. It was just a good movie.

For children of the 1980s-- didnt this movie remind you of 1987s MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE??? am i alone on this?

THOR was good but the earth stuff was pretty boring / corny.

  • What I did not like about this movie was how Thor did not exactly fight a "super" hero villain. What I mean by that is that Thor seemed to kick ass too much where ever he went without lifting a finger sometimes. That kind of killed the movie for me. (Loki, Destroyer, and Ice Giants were cool but not :O) I also did not feel that threat to earth which I think is a big audience winner for characters as loved as Thor. I also didn't like the development of the love story :/ it felt too abrupt!
