holy shit. I just realized something. Since I first saw this tony clifton character, it has always reminded me of the great performance scenes in the movie "The Killing of Chinese Bookie" by John casavettes. It's one of my favorite movies and has a terrible but very human club performer. While watching this, I was thinking how much he looks like Ben gazzara in that movie. Then I looked up when that movie came out, and it came out a year before this clip. Is this just a coincidence?
