I have no interest in the endless (circular) arguments between evangelicals and RC. You will never convince either side and minds are closed. What I find more interesting is the way history works under the Spirit. Back in 150 AD, every baptized worshipper went to communion, sort of like today. But afterward, for about1200 yrs.Catholics only communicated once or twice a year. Post-Reformation Catholics were told to go to the sacrament more frequently. But that is just 450yrs in an old church

To the faithful commenting: I learned a long time ago not to waste my time on protestant heretics. Shake the dust from your feet. Pray for them and all who reject the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.

He then speaks of those Gentiles, namely us [Christians] who in every place offer Sacrifices to Him, that is, the Bread of the Eucharist and also the Cup of the Eucharist. - St. Justin Martyr AD 150

God speaks by the mouth of Malachi, one of the twelve [minor prophets], as I said before, about the sacrifices at that time presented by you: "I have no pleasure in you, says the Lord, and I will not accept your sacrifices at your hands; for from the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, my name has been glorified among the Gentiles, and in every place incense is offered to my name, and a pure offering, for my name is great among the Gentiles" [Mal. 1:10-11].

@bornagainsaint1 1) Intresting so your claiming that the living body of Christ is not with Jesus when you pray to him?...This sounds like seperation to me.
2) Why would the holy scripture invoke you to ask the angles and Sts in heaven to "bless the LORD" and "praise the LORD" Psalms 103 & 148 if they could not hear you?
3) Not only that but we see the intercession of those in heaven offering our prayers to GOD in Rev 5:8 and Rev 8:3-4...U have been proven wrong in all accounts

@gtepp031387 when bornagain believers, who are still living, prays for the living they know that Jesus hears their prayers. those who have passed on, this includes Mary, do not take our prayers to Him. John 5:25-29, Jesus tells us that those who have passed on hear His voice, not ours. i am not separating believers from Christ, Jesus hears them. whether we go to Him privately in our "closets" or go to Him in groups He hears us and He said that He will never turn us away.

@bornagainsaint1 What I am saying is that you are seperating Christ from his body, and that is not ok. Does GOD need the angles to report to him about what happenes to little children?...no but does he use them and give them tasks?... Yes he does....your point is rather silly. Can believers not go the body of Christ for support anytime?..Why are you trying to seperate Christ from his body?..Can the eye say to the hand I do not need you?

Catholic Church = True Church Christ Founded, Has the totality of the truth
The Rest = False churches / Religions

@bornagainsaint1 Le Dude, how do I tell you this respectfully? I am seriously messing with you. I'm bored and having fun. Stop being so serious and weird on the internet. Plus, the Catholic Church was a pro at this when Protestantism was a one-legged baby stumbling around. Still is anyway! :D

@6MemoryOfForever9. get out of catholic theology and start reading what Jesus said and did. most of catholicism rejects the mission of Jesus' blood sacrifice, namely purgatory and the unbloody sacrifice that the priest offers during services in a catholic church. i was raised catholic & i left that church bcuz of its strange traditions which are not in the bible. when signs & wonders occur from statues, pictures or apparitions, they are from satan, turn to His blood sacrifice.
@bornagainsaint1 mmmhmmm??? And apparently you asked all Catholics what they want of statues!! Statues and Icons remind us of the person, like a photograph. We neither worship them nor expect anything from them. If a sign happens, it happens, maybe you should send your opinion to God about it! Quit being so obsessed about Catholics. Get OVER us! And learn some Catholic theology and history before you whine about it!

@bornagainsaint1 "For we do not receive these things(the body and blood of the eucharist) as common bread or common drink; but as Jesus Christ our Savior being incarnate by God's Word took flesh and blood for our salvation, so also we have been taught that the food consecrated by the Word of prayer which comes from him, from which our flesh and blood are nourished by transformation, is the flesh and blood of that incarnate Jesus." ~ St Justin Martyr 150 A.D.
