Jacque Fresco on Food, Drugs, Religion and Choice.

This is my first video and I wanted to make it short and sweet, something little to practice on.

  • You people are crazy!! do you have any idea how old religion could potentially be? it could be as old as mankind thats 500,000 years old. That says to me that faith and belief come pre programmed.

  • @jewlzorjay Faith and belief are not "pre programmed". Give me any child and I'll get them to believe whatever you want them to believe. It is completely based on their environment.

Secondly, you said "potentially" and "could be" which is another way of saying you don't know. Then you go on to use that ignorance for the basis for the next sentence. You can't say I don't know therefore I'm right.

  • @MaestroOfMystery

Wouldn't it be cool if we could try this experiment:

wipe out religion, wipe out all memory of religion, how long do you think it will be before a new faith arises? before somebody starts believing in something again?

i use "potentially" and maybe because it scientific language for scientific theory, Faith is as much a part of being human as culture which can influence science can you scientifically and definitively say no?

  • @jewlzorjay 1. It depends on what the environment is. It could be immediate or never depending on external variables.

Yes, I feel I can say no based on my current understanding that almost everything in the shaping of the humans' thoughts, behaviors, and culture is a direct result of their environment. A person could be raised in a environment in which they will never have any beliefs period. Keep in mind that anything is falsifiable and therefore my understandings can always be changed.

  • @Cows4jessy fairly obvious isnt it, clearly should be allowed. even real drugs like crack should be allowed.

  • @m4raak why? its recorded

  • I hope he writes down everything he knows.

  • Equal time on the air for every religion, idea, etc. It sounds like he's talking about the internet (without corporate, and government interests interfering).

I would even go as far as to say that it is this innate ability to create and believe in faiths that causes people to force feed it to their kids. i'm not even sure that create and believe are the corret words maybe humans are naturally suseptable to faiths or humans naturally believe that their is somthing else like ducks naturally fly in the V. Its just a bit weird that we have had religions for all these years to the point people make their own.
