From January 2003, Lacey Wa Interstate 5 at exit 109. One of the stories that I think I can call once in a life time for what was involved. An idiot blows through Washington State Patrol radar at a high rate of speed. Gets stopped. Found to be driving with a suspended license. Arrested at which time drug related items are found on the person and a mobile meth lab in the truck. The drug team arrives with a dog and the four pipe bombs are found on the floor of the truck. Traffic on the freeway is moving fine until the bomb squad arrives, then people start hitting the brakes. I was turning the camera back on and just missed the impact between the white truck and the Honda. The truck kept going and was stopped by a trooper. The bombs were removed from the truck and taken to an area near the Olympia airport and destroyed. Search warrants were served on two homes in King county where more bomb making materials were found.
