@InterpolFL Void was a very underground band, if you find the more mainstream bands they had better recording resources.

@bunerzissou Ya I understand sort of...I guess it's just to each his own. I know a lot of the metal I listen to most people probably think it sucks as well because of the growling/screaming vocals etc. From what I've seen about hardcore, it really is meant to be experienced live, sure looks like the people at this concert had a great time.

@InterpolFL it's about the energy and feeling, that's why technical skills have nothing to do with it. i feel like anxiety, frustration, and true anger sounds like this, not guitar shredding and double bass drums.

I just never could and still can't get into this kind of music. The singing is horrible, the drums aren't great, can't even hear the bass...guitar's all right. I know hardcore is supposed to be low recording standards and what not, but so is black metal and that's way better than this. This all just sounds whiny and scatterbrained. I'll stick to death/black metal I guess.
