144,000 Jewish Evangelists

Revelation 7 speaks of 144,000 Jewish people who are God's witness in the tribulation after the rapture of the Church. Why is the tribe of Dan Missing? Upwards of 1 Billion come to faith through their ministry!

@andrewferrier All of the 12 Tribes of Israel aren't Jewish. Only 2 Tribes are Jews: Judah and Benjamin

Thanks for watching and for your interest in Bible prophecy. The term "Jews" came from a shortened form of "Judah" during the Babylonian captivity around 586 BC. After the return of Israel from that captivity the word became synomous with all 12 tribes. Notice in the books of Ezra and Nehemiah all 12 tribes are accounted for after the captivity. Paul in Roman 2 also uses the term "Jew" in reference to all Israel.

@andrewferrier The church is not the remnant of Jacob. There is no where in scripture that says the church has replaced the 12 tribes of Israel. Not all Israelites are Jews; Jews only come from the Southern Kingdom of Judah- Jews (Judeans or Judahites)

The 144,000 is not the Church. The Church will be raptured off of this earth before the start of the 7 year tribulation (Rev.3:10). The 144,000 are Jewish people who become believers in Jesus at the start of the 7 years, they will be God's witnesses during that time.

@Asxhmoula I think what you are all forgetting is when Christ returns, that is it. 2 Peter 3:10 For the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which THE HEAVENS WILL PASS AWAY WITH A GREAT NOISE, AND THE EARTH WILL MELT WITH A FERVENT HEAT. There is nothing secret about the rapture, and it is Post-Trib. He who endures to the end shall be saved.
