Thai Girls busted in sex club in Maldives (Police video)

Six thai girls have been arrested on suspicion of prostitution, according to police.

Thai women were arrested at a medical clinic

The Maldives has strict laws and regulations with regard to prostitution. Anyone caught, faces deportation.

Referring to past cases, police sergeant Ahmed Shiyam said prostitutes were mainly from Sri Lanka, India and Thailand.

In 2007, five Uzbeks were arrested for prostitution.

During 2008, over 15 people were arrested for prostitution, mainly from Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
