"Trash Ball", A Story of Faith and Hope, From the Streets to the Stadium. This film follows the journey of 7 street kid's living on the street's of Kibuye, Rwanda for the past 10+ years. The Peace Plan and Saddleback Church brings together a special group of volunteers and implement a week long soccer ministry to the 300+ children, orphans and street kids in the small eastern country of Kibuye, Rwanda (Africa). The change in the lives of the children involved in the soccer ministry was incredible. It's truly amazing what a simple soccer ball can do for a street child in a third world country, where their typical days are spent wondering where their next meal will come from. Well, this soccer ministry allowed these children to be kids again for a week. An experience these children deserved and were so grateful for receiving. A simple soccer ball can truly change the lives of children who at one time had no hope. When we left, these children were forever changed and had hope for a better future and life.
