what about waterproofing a northface HIM35 tent? i need to waterproof the seams etc..can i use grangers spray on stuff to seal the tent?

The Grangers is more suited to clothing application. To reapply the water repellant coating in the outside try McNett's Air Dry spray to the outside of the fly, especially around the seams. For the inside SeamGrip is a tried and true winner along seams on the floor and the inside of your rain fly. Note their's no need to use the SeamGrip on the inside and outside, treating the inside is sufficient.
